Grand Prix Mare

We also pleased to annouce one of our more recent additions to our farm We recently purchased a successful Grand Prix mare named Nabelle or Bella

We were pleased to be selected by the owner of this mare who hand selected our farm to be her new home. Michael, her owner, had orginally choosen her to compete in the World Cup, but then later was retired by the owner this spring in persuit of her becoming a mom!  We were honored that our farm and breeding program was choosen.

This mare is not only a talented and sweet mare herself, but a sister to the famous Grand Prix showjumper “Shutterfly”. These lines have been well proven with many successful jumpers. We will be breeding her Spring of 2008, and look forward to having her added to our breeding program. This will be her first foals born in North America, as she was previously imported from Germany.

Our Trakehner Mares
Our Trakehner mares were chosen to complement the bloodlines of our Trakehner stallions. They have wonderful temperaments, lovely movement, good substance and bone, and many of their own famous champion bloodlines. Some of these bloodlines include Falko, Pasteur, Insterfeuer, Hy Tec, Dobosz, Matador, Donauwind (Abdullah's sire),Mozart, and Gunnar. Along with famous stallions these mares also have premium and elite mares in their pedigree as well, including our imported States Premium mare  Heureka II, and her States Premium dam Harmonie XX.

Falko was a Grand Prix winner including his Championship win of the Grand Prix ATCO cup. Hy Tec was recently awarded 2000 Canadian National Grand Prix Dressage Champion. Hy Tec was sired by Dobosz who was imported from Poland in 1972, and competed successfully in jumping classes throughout Canada and the US, and produced over 120 offspring, who many went on to perform in various disciplines including dressage, hunters, jumpers, and combine training.

Matador was approved in 1977 in Neumunster, and has been said by the German Trakehner Hengstbusch to be "one of the most important stallions of the last 40 years, both in the number of registered descendants and in the quality of his transmission." He was also the 1982 DGL Champion.

Matador was sired by Donauwind, who himself sired several famous sons including Abdullah whose winning list goes on and on, including gold metals and many Grand Prix winnings for showjumping. Donauwind stood at stud in West Germany and Denmark prior to being imported to the US in 1982. Donawind as said by the German Trakehner Stallion book to be "very high quality, with very good breed and stallion type, and one of the best progenitors of the postwar time; has pleasant disposition and easy to ride".

Mozart born in 1973, was the Reserve Champion of the 1975 Neumuster approvals and again later in 1976, were he was performance tested. He later went on to a successful FEI dressage career, and was used as an improver stallion in the Dutch Warmblood breed. Mozart was a Dutch National Dressage Champion 3 times. He went on to sire many performing offspring and approved sons, and many other accomplishments. Mozart was sired by Gunnar whom was used all over Europe to upgrade the Trakehner and other warmblood breeds, producing more than 80 studbook mares and 131 approved sons in various warmblood registries, making him one of the most important and influential stallions of warmblood history

Our Other Mares
In addition to our Trakehner mares we have CSH, CW, Performance horse, Thoroughbred, Arabian bloodlines with their own noticeable accomplishments. They come form famous bloodlines with impressive winnings. Most of them already have been inspected and passed with very good and even excellent marks

In addition to that, we have our original foundation mares. They are a result of our breeding program to date and our previous stallion influences. These mares are sound and athletic horses with good bone, willing temperaments and wonderful trainability, and are producing many impressive offspring. When tested in competition our horses have shown very well and earned their way to the winning circle Even our young stock shows outstanding freejumping athletic ability. This young stock, our mares, and our new Trakehner stallions, enable us to produce many more generations of performing horses. We will continue to integrate only carefully chosen bloodlines, with the quality of the horse always being our priority
