Our Trakehner stallion Featured on Horse-opoly

We at Smoky River Sport Horses are complemented by the selection of our Trakehner Stallion Donnerval to represent the Trakehner breed on the board game HORSE-OPOLY (A Horse version of Monopoly). We have loved and owned horses all our lives. Smoky River Sport Horses farm currently has three stallions, (one being Donnerval) where we breed, raise, train, and compete.

We are please the Trakehner breed was one of only 3 warmblood breeds chosen for the game, and we were further honored that Donnerval , our stallion (Canadian Born/Raised) , was selected to represent the Trakehner breed on an North America widely distributed, and internationally available game. 

Donnerval was trained by Smoky River Sport Horse’s, Arne LaValley, which is pictured on the game riding Donnerval, jumping over the Trakehner sign. Being selected for this game is another unique and complementary way for Donner to be recognized internationally.

Donnerval has steadily been making a name for himself due to his great temperament, trainability, bloodlines, and jumping ability, as well as his ability to pass on his impressive attributes to his offspring. Donnerval has produced many offspring for the past several years, giving us ample opportunity to work with, and train his offspring. To Quote Arne, “I don’t know of any other stallion that leaves so many offspring with such a high consistency of natural jumping talent, great minds, and overall trainability.”

Donnerval and the Smoky River Sport Horses breeding program, in general, are quickly gaining respect and praises from the people who have had the opportunity to witness, work with, ride or buy these offspring.
